Even more, the highly experienced stuff promise safe and joyful dives. There are guided dives by qualified instructors and a great deal of diving sites depending on your interests, skills and weather conditions.
The most popular site is at the volcanic islands of Palea and Nea Kameni, as well as at the cliffs around the Caldera. You can select our diving centre base at Caldera Beach or Perissa Beach to set off for your diving experience.Dives take place every day, so there is flexibility on dates and sites enabling you to select the one that suits you best.

Divers board from the small pier on the spacious, nine-metre fibreglass dive-boat with capacity of 20 persons, who can take off for their dive trip and reach the dive site in only a few minutes.
Discover amazing underwater treasures
If you go scuba diving around the edge of the caldera and below the cliffs, you will view many colorful sponges, nudibranchs, groupers, snappers, barracuda and many schools of fish.
At the Palea and Nea Kameni volcanic islets you can admire all the lava formations and find marine life such as lobsters, moray eels, clams and spirographs hiding amongst the lava rocks. There is also a small passenger ship that sunk in the bay at the new volcano.
You also have the chance to dive at a marvellous protected reef right in front of the diving station. The site is full of marine life where our divers, students or Discover Scuba divers of different levels can have a unique dive and feed the fish. Upon return, you can either relax on the beautiful small beach in front of the diving centre, enjoy Greek cuisine at the traditional taverna next to us and admire the breathtaking view of the Caldera cliffs and the Volcano.

Requirements for Diving
For Certified Divers:
A valid diving certificate from any recognised authority is required. We will also ask you to complete a medical evaluation form.
For Non-divers:
There is a variety of activities and courses for non-divers, too. In this case you simply have to complete the medical evaluation form.
